About

Third-year engineering student at Cambridge working on LLM systems and data pipelines, most recently retrieval-augmented generation at Nokia Bell Labs and a multimodal reasoning benchmark at Cambridge.

I study on Cambridge's four-year integrated Master's in Engineering, graduating in 2028. My focus is signal processing, information theory and machine learning, and I enjoy turning that theory into reliable software. I am looking for internship roles on teams building LLM or data-intensive products.

Experience

Technology Standards Research & Innovation Intern

Jul – Sep 2026

Nokia Bell Labs, 6G & AI team · Cambridge, UK

  • Built a retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipeline with the standardisation team, helping researchers query large technical standards documents.
  • Worked with containerised tooling and CI/CD practices (Docker) as part of the team's research workflow.

Undergraduate Researcher, Multimodal LLM Benchmark

Sep 2026 – Present

University of Cambridge

  • Designed the image curation pipeline for a benchmark testing whether multimodal LLMs can infer modified scientific laws from counterfactual photographs.
  • Co-author on the resulting paper, targeting CVPR 2027.

Technical Intern

Aug – Sep 2024

Harmony Ecosystem Service (HarmonyOS / OpenHarmony ecosystem) · Shenzhen

  • Analysed application data and wrote technical documentation for mobile and IoT platforms in the HarmonyOS ecosystem.

Admissions Interview Tutor

Oct 2026 – Present

Coursemo · Part-time

  • Prepare applicants for Cambridge Engineering admissions interviews, coaching structured problem solving in mathematics and physics.

Research

CVPR 2027 · Co-author · In submission

Counterfactual scientific-law abduction benchmark for multimodal LLMs

Photographs of worlds in which a physical law has been altered; models must identify which law changed. Contribution: image curation pipeline.

Projects

rag-qa

2026

Personal project · Open source

  • Python question-answering system over local PDFs, with a lightweight agent that routes each query to general chat or document retrieval.
  • Groundwork for the RAG pipeline later built at Nokia Bell Labs.
